Living in Russia, it’s a shame on me to have so few, even beautiful images of Russia inside this gallery 🙂
But this is the human nature – we often think that the happiness and beauty lie somewhere else in a distant place… and disregard what we have in a neighborhood. Besides, I have a strong feeling that I can have a possibility to investigate my own country later, when my abilities to travel to very distant countries could be somewhat limited…
So, this gallery will be surely expanded.

Russian St. John the Baptist Church at Yaroslavl city was built in 1671-1687 and considered as the most beautiful example of Yaroslavl architecture school

Distant view of the Kalyazin Bell Tower (18-th century), rising over the waters of the Uglich Reservoir, which was created in 1939 and submerged some religious buildings of Kalyazin city

Sunset view of Uglich Kremlin, the Church of St. Tsarevich Dmitry on the Blood and a motor ship on the Volga river, docked at Uglich quay
